Artist's Comments

Shot at F8.0, ISO200, 3 minute individual exposures layered in photoshop. 1hr30mins total exposures.

Battery died after about 50 min so there is an unavoidable gap in the trail.

Unfortunate amount of cloud on what i thought would be a clear night.

*Update: I have reprocessed the image.

Very nice indeed. :)

Bingo question - If 66 is "clickety click", and 22 is "two little ducks", why isn't 62 "clickety duck"?

98% of the teenage population does or has tried smoking pot. If you're one of the 2% who hasn't, copy & paste this in your signature.

(it is unavoidable with small radial blur to compensate for that time)

very nice, like the simple silhouette youve used. aston juxta? I'd almost suggest not bothering with that last bit of trail, as it doesn't add a great length to the trail, but shows up the gap.
:iconallanibanez:
agreed, just need to redo the merge. certainly is Aston, not sure why i called it AJX...AJM is surely what i was going for; i blame the cold.
:iconallanibanez:
i tried it out, and it really does make a massive difference! the only problem is that even with the marching ants on photoshop, it is quite hard to not blur any of the foregorund subject...especially with this image.

I have done the thing in PS U can see the work in my gallery. I know it is difficult but U have to do the job in layers with masking. But now as I think... my case was a bit different since my ground object is not in the middle of the photo.... :( But I still think it might work..
